Physical Prototyping and Rendering

Part 1 - Blueprints

Using a vector drawing program (e.g. Adobe Illustrator or similar) draw your physical product idea from 3 views: top, side, and front.

Use only black lines of varying weight, don't fill with any color.

Export drawings as SVG and insert into submission page.

Part 2 - Prototype

Build full-size prototype using cardboard, foamcore, or other rapid model-making material.

Photograph prototype in 2 distinct setups:

Retouch both photos to eliminate prototype shortcomings and enhance clarity of idea.

Insert both raw and retouched photos into submission page at a minimum of 3840 pixels wide.

Bring model to class.
