How should women feel when engaging with intimates?

To start the ideation process, I thought back to my high school days of working in lingerie retail, identifying the breakdowns and missed opportunities that exist in the intimates world.

Because this is such a personal experience for every woman, helping her feel positive emotions throughout the process is essential. So, in creating this suite of tools, I identified the following three emotions to design around.

Empowered

Comfortable

Playful

About the Author

Hi! I am a student at the Austin Center for Design, where I am studying interaction design and social entrepreneurship. Prior to embarking on this education, I worked in market research, designing surveys for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. I love the contrast in research approach here: taking a richer, deeper dive into each person vs. abstracting them to a number. I look forward to continuing this challenging and rewarding work, and to seeing where my intrigues guide me to next.
